How It Was Styled It's Almost Spring

Hello everyone, in anticipation of Spring I decided to wear this lovely striped dress by Mango, Charlotte Russe Cardigan, Calvin Klein leggings, a pretty sea foam beaded necklace, off white earrings,Nicole mid calf boots. I really love this look because I felt very comfortable in it, but felt really dressed up at the same time!

I am telling you that any type of heels you put on, will instantly make you feel dressed up... Spring has been very elusive to the City of Chicago, and the recent weather has just put a real damper on any of the looks I want to post for you all. This look is very casual, yet dressy because you have the key elements of Spring with the striped dress, and sea foam beaded necklace. The dress also has ruching on the sides which may not be visible in the pictures but is instantly slimming on almost any body type!

I will hopefully be able to post even more great Spring Looks for you soon, I really need this weather to cooperate. If you are dressing for Spring, but don't want to spend anymore money try adding at least 1 or 2 key pieces to enhance what you may have had, last Spring. Pastels, and florals are very big this season as well as the tribal prints. So pick 1 key element you are comfortable with and pair that with your most prettiest element from last season!

  1. Great look, I'm in Wisconsin and the up and down temps is making it hard to get excited about dressing for Spring. I feel your pain.

    1. Toya, yes dressing for Chicago weather is like getting dressed in the dark all of the time. We haven't had much of a Spring, so I am guessing we'll go straight into Summer... HOPING.. Thank you for commenting... I am a fan of your blog
