Life Changes

Hello Lovelies,

It's been a while since I've checked in with my readers, and I have been really busy still being a wife, and mom, to my 2 beautiful kids! I can now add Master's Degree Graduate in Human Services to my resume. Lovelies let me tell you, I hadn't been back to school in over 10 years, so you can imagine how afraid I was to take this huge leap! My daughter was about 9 years-old when I went back to school, and my son was 6 years-old, my daughter used to encourage me every single night by asking, had I done my homework. I did it for myself, but most of ALL I did it for THEM... my children, so that they could see that you can achieve anything you set your mind, too!

I achieved my degree in 2 years with an overall GPA of  3.72, I graduated on December 9, 2017.
I am very excited about the future, and would like to help as many people as I can in my new career. The process may be very hard in our lives, but the journey will be worthwhile.

That's what a career in Human Services means to me an opportunity to help people gain a better insight into their own lives, as well as giving back to your community. I also had an internship, during my  college experience, I was able to help teens in a nonprofit organization.

I will be revamping my blog, because POLYVORE, the place where I used to design style sets for my readers is No LONGER available! The change took our fashion community by shock! We just woke up one day and found out that all of our creations have been destroyed and that the company has been sold! That's life, everything can change in the blink of an eye.

I did it for them!

My husband taking a bite out of my degree! (LOL)

The overwhelming feeling you get when you've accomplished something you never ever imagined possible that you could do, but with God's help it was possible.

My beautiful daughter encouraged me the most when I was in school, she's my inspiration, and I can only hope that I am her inspiration, too!

Where it all began my 1st Degree earned at Columbia College in Chicago.
